Work Experience:  This is my 21st year teaching. I began my teaching career teaching 1st and 2nd grade in the Wichita Public Schools and taught there for 5 years. I taught 2nd grade for one year at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School before moving to the Kansas City area. After staying home with my 3 kids for two years, I went back to work at Prince of Peace Catholic School in Olathe, KS. I spent 12 years at Prince of Peace before moving to California for a short time. I taught kindergarten, third grade, and then was a Resource Teacher. I taught 4th grade for a trimester in the Diocese of Oakland, CA before moving back to KC. I was truly blessed to become part of the Holy Trinity family in 2016.

Teaching Philosphy:  As a Catholic teacher, my first and most important goal is to help my students become disciples of Christ and ultimately lead them closer to Heaven. It is my duty to be an example of Christ to all. I believe in fostering the love for God and learning in all students, regardless of their abilities and God given talents.

Our Mission: Holy Trinity Catholic School is dedicated to the Spirtual, Academic, Emotional, and Physical development of all students; empowering them to cultivate positive relationships, think critically, and become disciples for the Catholic Church and the world.

Passions & Interests: I love my Catholic faith and I am always looking for ways to grow. One of my favorite things is spending time with my family and dog. Reading and traveling are two long time passions. I'm always looking forward to the next book to read and the next place I can visit!

Favorite Scripture: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always persevered. Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8
